Parent Coaching

(virtual or in person)

Parent Coaching is a one-on-one support offered to caregivers that are seeking an outside perspective or additional support in parenting a child. As Gil Foley said, "Parenting is a developmental process - it's a learned skill. No one person is born knowing exactly how to parent!" It important to note, that the behaviors that we sometimes have a hard time with don't have to be explosive, violent behaviors that we most often attribute to the term "challenging behavior". Children who are having difficulty in social situations, or maybe kiddos who are walking through a difficult season, or are struggling with their own mental health are tough to parent too. During our time together, we can work toward moving forward in a more connected and healthy way.

Ongoing - can be done in as little or as many sessions that the caregiver requires
